The Company received the 2024 Top ESG Supplier Award from GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. (GEHC), the world's largest manufacturer of contrast media agents. GEHC gives this award to companies among its 13,000 suppliers who have made substantial contributions to the environment, society, and governance (ESG). The Company contributes to a stable supply of GEHC's contrast media agents by developing a program to supply iodine including recycled products, together with Godo Shigen Co., Ltd., and Toho Earthtech, Inc. Since it aims to achieve zero emissions by 2050, the GE Group has identified iodine recycling as an important topic. Recycling contributes to the supply of iodine, a material for which global production volumes are limited. Over its more than 40 years of involvement in the iodine business, the Company has actively promoted recycling. As GEHC expands and enhances its plant in Ireland, the Company will continue striving to ensure a stable supply together with Godo Shigen Co., Ltd., and Toho Earthtech, Inc.
