The New Business Promotion Dept. has been focusing on the creation of environmentally friendly businesses since 2020.
As part of this, it has focused on the effective use of waste cooking oil, and has recently started introducing Eco Hand Soap into the toilets in the ITOCHU Head Office Building on 2 August.
The Eco Hand Soap features an eco-friendly soap derived from waste cooking oil, and is a circular transaction that uses the same raw material discharged from the basement cafeteria of the ITOCHU Head Office Building.
The hand soap has almost no odour characteristic of waste cooking oil and is gentle on the skin, so it can be used safely without the risk of skin irritation.
The company intends to expand the business outside the ITOCHU head office building in the future.
